First-round play will resume at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8. Round 2 is expected to begin as scheduled between 11 a.m. to 1:01 p.m. ET, with players competing in groups of three off Nos. 1 and 10.
Due to inclement weather, first round play for the Truist Championship was suspended for the day at 7:10 p.m.
All spectators should exit the premises for their safety.

Sepp Straka seized the lead with a par on the 16th hole and shot a 2-under 68, outdueling Shane Lowry on Sunday in the final round of the Truist Championship at Philadelphia Cricket Club for his second victory of the season.
A tense back-nine duel between the two had an anticlimactic ending as Straka made a no-pressure, two-putt par and joined Rory McIlroy (three victories) as a multiple winner on TOUR this season. The Austrian who played college golf at Georgia also won The American Express in January and now has four career wins.
